Oil on 30x40 canvas. Model took pictures of herself and emailed them to me. This is the result so far.
I really need some feedback on this. Give me a critique and tell me what you would change, what you would fix, why you like it and why you don't. I am not going for perfect realism, but I would love to hear how this painting makes you "feel". If you would like to see more of this model, you can find more in my journal.

Signed up for exhibition somewhere and I need to start printing. I don't want to kill a lot of paper because I have no cash. So decided to scan in all of my negatives and slides to better assist me with determining good shots so I don't make a lot of test prints . Thought I might share a few that came out of the first batch. Thanks for looking

A new painting....
This is for my drawing II class. We are doing ink wash, and I kind of like the way it turned out. The theme for this had to be "Looking through glass". Let me know what you think, good or bad :) Thanks.

On June 11, 1963, Thich Quang Duc, a Buddhist monk from the Linh-Mu Pagoda in Hue, Vietnam, burned himself to death at a busy intersection in downtown Saigon, Vietnam.. Eye witness accounts state that Thich Quang Duc and at least two fellow monks arrived at the intersection by car, Thich Quang Duc got out of the car, assumed the traditional lotus position and the accompanying monks helped him pour gasoline over himself. He ignited the gasoline by lighting a match and burned to death in a matter of minutes. David Halberstam, a reporter for the New York Times covering the war in Vietnam, gave the following account:

This is some work I did for a decisive moment assignment in Photo 2 last semester. I used Ilford 3200 and printed on 11x14 Oriental Fiber. Because of the scanner, a bit of the images had to be cropped. The images weren't altered in anyway.

Critiques encouraged.

Hello, terrifying people

Here's a series I did on torn envelopes recently.

Click the thumbnails for the big version, if you will!

All done in pencil, watercolour, and acrylic.

Hi, I'll re-introduce myself because I've been really inactive. My name is Erin, I am seventeen and I live in California. Okay, anyway, here's just something that I drew not too long ago.
